This was a real treat to read even with it's absolutely heart-stopping suspense. Poor John! The stress is going to kill him - and Sherlock - before anuthing else gets a chance! I adored Sherlock and John's deep affections for each other through the story. I'm glad Sherlock is finally starting to realize he hasn't lost his place, despite Mycroft gaining one, in John's heart. And the waiting, there at the end with the corporeal bomb about drove me mad. Oh, Sherlock.

Alexei, too! I just love him.

I'm not usually a Johncroft shipper because I am, of course, a rampant shipper of Johnlock, BUT you managed to make me love it. It's no doibt become you didn't change John and Sherlock's relationship. Which means I didn't have to feel lonely or upset for a pining Sherlock. Bravo.

Can't wait to read the sequel.
