Gremlin died peacefully tonight in my lap at about 9:15 or so.  It went just as well as I could have hoped - no theatrics except for my own waterworks.  The vet was very good with both her work, and helping me get through it all.  And Leland was, as always, amazing.  I couldn't  have gone through with this on my own, and I'm so

I'm so sorry Vern. I know he was so loved and so spoiled. He was an amazing guy and I loved him so much though I didn't know him as well as you.
He's finally peacfully resting. No more pain and knowing he was well loved.

It's so hard saying goodbye to someone you've loved for so long. More than just a pet, a best friend.
Just know he that he was one fat and happy cat and no one could have showed him a better life than you.

I heart you and I'm here. Don't hesitate to call me. I mean it.
