Robert asked me to post some pictures for him, so here we go. I had set aside a lot of pictures of the park to post and then decided against it in the end, but I do have a small small collection of pictures from around Thanksgiving when my parents were visiting.
Amy walking down Main Street.
Over at California Adventure they are working on a new show. They completely drained the lagoon as well that the Ferris Wheel attraction is closed. They've removed all the cars for painting and have scaffolding up as they re-theme the attraction and the surrounding area.
Lastly we have lot's of boxes around the apartment to pack up gifts for Christmas packages and what not that we'll send out soonish. Coral has found enjoyment and comfort in this.
I've also included some pictures of last night's Holiday Cast Member party at the resort. The party itself was terrible compared to last year. Nothing felt special, it was just another day at the park with extra lighting effects and Christmas music reaching to the far ends of Disneyland. We went out to the Jazz Kitchen beforehand to meet up with some of my co-workers to grab a few drinks and appetizers before heading off into the park. It was a lot of little things that made it worse, but anyways on with the show!
Robert purchased some oyster shooters for everyone. I've never had them before and Amy couldn't down her's. I ended up downing hers and my own eventually. It was rather terrible.
This is Robert. He's the guy who trained me on the Lead portions of the on the job training. He also introduced us to Flight of the Conchords.
Amy and I in the bar.
Our bartender, Martin, making an order of Bananas Foster.
Robert often forces me to do things against my will. Such as do a French laugh, wear silly hats, and so forth. Or "take a picture with the pirate hook guy".
Or come into Anne Gedes and take a picture of me with a creepy baby thing.
So an hour and a half or so after the party in Disneyland has started we finally make our way into the park and attempt to take pictures of ourselves in front of the castle while kicking our legs out in a stylish dance and falling over.
and again...
Then we went onto Big Thunder and Robert in his inebriated state kept asking me to take pictures. This is him and Vira, who started with me in the college program way back when.
Amy took a picture of some sleeping Reindeer.
After that we seperated from the group to finish off our free holiday photopass thing we get from the party. They have extra locations and charcaters setup, we got these two.
