Balls

A couple of days ago I've went to the vet to get my dog’s claws clipped. The dog, Sam is about fifteen and doesn’t go walking like he used to, so his nails can get overgrown. hehehehehe......I read an article about prosthetic testicles for animals. Apparently they are hot sellers here in the U.S......we're a bunch of loons, aren't we?

The poor old chap has managed without it all these years.. my daughter has started calling him "Oddball"... hehe

i don't understand why the vet has to give the dog treatment for the one ball if it wasn't a problem before.. Did it suddenly start swelling?

The vet thought it was starting to swell - aparently this can be a problem in un-castrated old male dogs. We probably hadn't noticed because it was happening so slowly. I have to say we don't get top marks for being observant; we'd never noticed his lack so to speak!
