Kiniro no Koruda...
Well, the special aired. And I've not downloaded it yet, but I have seen it.
So far as it goes, it's what I expected really. A 2 part series is not enough to introduce 3 new characters adequately and still keep the quality of the existing ones.
LIKES
Most of all, the music. The performances were very pretty and reminded me how much I loved Koruda for its music (since it's a while since I last watched the anime...must watch again).
Shimizu no longer speaks quite so slowly. Thank god for that. I won't forget the start of his sentence by the time he reaches the end.
Kira is ebil and mean. Which is good. Because that's how I hoped he'd come over :)
Etou hates Kaji. Which is generally good with me..
DISLIKES
Predictably, Kaji. I was a little afraid of it, having heard him on dramas and so on, but knowing that Miyano-san can voice a character as kickass as Zero makes it even worse. Thankfully he did not kiss Kaho's hand and there was no mention of rogue teddy suit wearing...yet. He hasn't got into full stalker mode...yet. But he was involved a lot. His hair is too yellow, his voice too annoying, and he transferred schools just because of her music. Yes, I still hate Kaji. Not much has changed there.
I acknowledge watching him with bias since he is my absolute most disliked neoroma character of all time...but...meh. No. When I get around to playing Koruda 2, I am going to have to find a convenient cupboard to shut him in. What a shame Koruda lacks onryou...)
Yunoki and Hihara did not get enough airtime, either. Predictably. And no Yunoki ebils. I miss Yunoki ebils. Give me back my Yunoki....
And what was with the ranking? Yunoki SO was NOT third :@
