So this was going to be an edit in the other post, but...362 RAWness
It got kinda long, so more spamness. Gomen, minna. (bows). Gomen, doubly, for the non-bleach f-list people. (more bowing). Although for any SotsuM f-list people, is anyone interested in proofreading some manga translation...?
Aaanyhow...yes...back to 362 again. This from the raw of the chapter...and other stuff.
Well, now I've seen the full chapter...I remembered a couple of things I wanted to add into the other post but never had time to yesterday because of...other things...going on in other places...(meh).
Firstly...the scanlation people have done it again :| Shunsui's attack has been translitted as Busho Koma. It's not. It's Bushougoma. Manga scan here clearly shows the furigana as ぶしょうごま. It's a very little nitpick really, but since I had to go through all the raw chapters to check the transliterations of all the kidou for another bleach forum's project (and I mean all of them), I've got a little twitchy about the way scanlators sometimes translit spells and releases. (Just don't get me started on Hakufuku and Kyakkou, okay? And as for Tenran...er, yeah. Moving on...)
Secondly - I am sure that Juu's attack connects the circuit and is electricity/lightning of some variety. I said this on Rae's journal and babbled at her about it already so gomen, Rae, for the repeat but having seen the cleaned up graphics I'm even more sure about this. His final pose also suggests that his blades were touching and he's drawn them apart to clear the release. I may be way off, but if you look at the little inset pic beside Stark's O.o face, it really looks like two blades crossing in the glare. Of course, it will be the end of time before that is animated, so hopefully we'll see something clearer next chapter about that (because my fanfic could use it, dammit all).
This is the first Juu chapter with his sword I've seen raw, so I found it interesting that his sword's name has no 'no' character in it. Although the reading is Sougyo no Kotowari, the kanji simply says Sougyo Kotowari. Why do I find that interesting? Other than I'm a geek? The 'no' is a possessive term meaning 'belonging to'. In ooold Japanese history, most of the noble families had names like Minamoto, Taira, Fujiwara, etc. Like in English, we had "John of Gloucester", for example, they would have Taira NO (and then the first name - to steal real people from HaruToki, Taira no Atsumori, Minamoto no Yorihisa). BUT those names, although the 'no' was spoken, never had it written in the kanji. And giving Juu's vintage, and SS's japanese setting...I thought it interesting.

Thirdly- Takaoni is definitely the entire name of Shunsui's second technique. I quite like BA's translation of 'rising demon', too. Also, we really don't know even having seen the chapter what that was. He crossed his blades too, which was interesting. I'm not sure if it was going to be a slash or not...just thinking of Juu's, and wondering...
Fourthly - This time Stark only mentioned seeing Shunsui's bankai. He only says 'anta no bankai', so Juu is forgotten for the time being. (Well, that's ok, makes the finale all the more exciting).
Shunsui was a mite odd in this chapter. It really looks like he got reckless, got caught off guard because he though he could finish it quickly...and miscalculated. That's not like Shun, unless he wanted to draw Stark out and...miscalculated. Or wanted to bring Juu in, but...I don't think so, from his last expression. It's the "Crap, the prefect's here and I'm getting detention' expression...so. Maybe he knew he was gonna get a Juu lecture on idiocy later...Juu has his scary "I'm NOT amused, so don't even THINK about laughing" face on.
Of course - and this final analysis is specifically for Rae's benefit - maybe he wanted to get it over with quickly so that he could keep Juu out of the fight.
Which continues the mystery of - WHERE IS THE PINK HAORI?!
Going back to the multiCero attack, though - Stark seems pretty sure it's unavoidable (Shinigami-seeking Cero, perhaps?) Knowing what we know about Shunsui's shunpo, WHY did he not dodge it? He can shunpo one heck of a way, so why stand there like a lemon rooted to the spot? Was he THAT taken off guard? I dunno. Something about it bothers me more than a little bit. Is it a case of he doesn't want to pull out for a reason? But...? I dunno. The raw casts a slightly different slant on Shunsui's complaining about it being unfair - the way it's written in the Japanese is more Shunsui, to be honest (logically, I suppose) incorporating his 'ja nai no' speech characteristic...
I would translate what he says as "Hang on a minute, isn't that kind of unfair/sneaky? " As opposed to Wait! That's not fair!".
The actual line is (broken down)
cho...chotto matta! (very slangy way to say wait a minute)
Kono waza, (that technique)
ZURU ja nai no? (A bit sneaky, isn't it?)
I think at least one of them will pull out a bankai at some point, but I don't really mind which. I want to see more of their shikai first though, for sure.
I still think that this page is probably the most significant page of manga ever drawn.
And I have to add that Juu's pwnage is now unavoidably universal. Yay.
