O.o Anyone else think that it's slightly ironic that an OVA called Owarinaki Unmei is probably the last we're gonna ever get of animated HT3?

I've heard people talk about a TV series but it's really not going to happen. They've covered way too much of the game plot so if they did one it would be completely from scratch. And that's not going to ( Read more... )

I will be cuddling my Atsumori plush this time around...last time I was mainly cuddling Riz-sensei, especially during THAT scene. By the way...Chi no Genbu-biased fangirl here, anything interesting about Sensei in this one?

Well, they may appear in the extra ep that'll be on the DVD. Which is probably why Masaomi is being such an ass at this point in proceedings, since it's far too early according to game for Kurou to know Masako's a psycho bitch with evil powers. >.>

Erm, Riz...well, when Nozomi was having an angsty moment about whether she had chosen the right path of fate, he came out and grabbed her hands (while she was holding the gem, so I think that was meant to be the hint that he knows what it is and what it does/has done) and told her that her doubts were warping her path and that she needed to follow her path straight ahead of her because everyone else would accept her way of doing things.

Since playing his path in the game, I'm quite fond of Rizvaan too. xD

Haven't seen the special yet, but according to the official website, the OP theme is only available on the special CD that was sold at the Starlight Christmas event. So there goes our chance of getting it in March....

Hrm. CD Japan reckons the intro, outro and insert songs are all gonna be on the vocalshuu but it could easily be wrong. It may simply be that the opening theme won't be released otherwise until March. After all, the original Promised Rainbow was something like that, I think, and in the end it was released on something else.

The Japanese never miss an opportunity to market something after all...>.>

I'm more bothered about the ending theme than the opening one, honestly >.>

Does anyone have that insert song that played when Kagetoki tried to shoot Kurou? I really want it, but I can't find it anywhere!

It's on the vocal-shuu CD that they released for Owarinaki Unmei. It's Inoue Kazuhiko's track on that. Unfortunately I can't remember the title off hand and I don't have the disk handy, but if you do some strategic searching, I'm sure you'll find it.

...I just discovered this now and I'm really curious about the Heike... seeing how Koremori and Tsunemasa are onryou, does that mean Tomomori is too?

I'm also amused and depressed at how Haruka games have a thing for older brothers dying. First a possessed Tsunemasa goes and dies on Atsumori, then a possessed Makoto goes and dies on Chinami in Haruka 5. ._. And both pairs have really depressing duets.

No, Tomomori is actually alive. Though he makes up for it in the game by killing himself in almost every ending.

The Atsumori Tsunemasa thing is also the second time around, really, because both of them technically died at Ichi no Tani (or at least, they did historically, who knows in Harukaverse xD).

You're right, though. Chinami and Makoto...Atsumori and Tsunemasa...and Yorihisa and Sanehisa in 1 as well. :)

Yup. ...And Habarihiko and Futsuhiko in 4. Bonus points because it screwed Hiiragi up badly, too.

At least Habarihiko breaks the mold by coming back to life in the good ending.

I never finished 4. I still have it, I just never went back to it. I did about 2 paths I think...Nagi and someone else...never did Futsuhiko.

Albeit I think Makoto has a couple of paths in which he can be saved...

And if you want to continue with brothers, there's some issues with Shun and Sou in Shun's H5 ending, because he gets saved but Sou doesn't...
