He'd started keeping a mental list of concepts to read up on during conversations, so he wasn't constantly interrupting with questions. Hyacinthe enjoyed reading as much as the next person, but too much time spent on the Wikipedia tended to give him a headache, both from staring at a screen and the sheer volume of information it contained. He was relieved to push his maps away on the desk and turn to grin at the Dante in his doorway.
"And hello to you," he said with a genuine smile that didn't hide his long once-over in the least. So sue him, Dante was pretty, even by D'Angeline standards. "Looking much better without the patina of purple slime, I must say."

"And I even stopped smelling of fake grape," Dante agreed merrily. "Which makes me think you're probably all cleaned up too." He pulled away from the doorway and stepped into the room.

He came in from the common room without looking up from his phone, plopped down on his bed, and only then looked up at Hyacinthe. Who was... writing something? Drawing? "Don't tell me you're doing homework," Roscoe said, eyeing him with some suspicion.

Though odds were good he'd have done it anyway. He'd never had a chance to go to school before and found the experience intriguing.
"I'm trying to learn the names of the countries here. Is there truly a country called the Netherlands?" He smirked. "Sounds a little dirty, don't you think?"
