Beware humans bearing gifts - opinion - 20 December 2009 - New Scientist

I was wondering how long it would take for the basic theories of Marcel Mauss and Pierre Bourdieu to wander into more contemporary settings.

Wow. I tried to check it out both on my phone and work computer, and both time it tried to nail me with malware. My iPhone was obviously immune. But I'm hoping my work computer didn't get nailed. Again. I'm wondering if one of New Scientist's advertisers is a bad monkey.

Oh wow....when I looked at it there was no issue. There was this time though for me. Disabling LInk. I apologize.

No worries. It was the New Scientist. It *shouldn't* have issues like that.

When I went back in through their main page, I didn't encounter any problems. It may be fixed now. It was just really startling. =)

It would be startling. I would be very unhappy to have that happen as well. I won't be linking to their site again.
