Simon can type 100 wpm +.

Yours is like...above or around average for most people.

yeah i'd say something similar. i think 82 is average. I'm not sure what i can type anymore.

82 WPM is pretty darn fast. Back in the 'olde typewriter days, a good speed was 45wpm or higher, keyboards made it easier to type, so say 60wpm or higher.

I don't know what my speed is, but I will assume its around 60 or so.

Oab's right..

Anythign over 25 was great in a school typing course. 45wpm and your considered a pro typist and can get a job most places with that.

There are two types of tests for it. If I am reading something and duplicating it I'm in the 80-90 range. If I am creating something myself (IE a document) from my head I'm in the 80-130 range.

Your plenty fast enough.

On a good day, I could probably churn out 100+ wpm. Crazy.

I never really thought about it though. Not all words would be spelt correctly either ;)
