Why I Have Not Posted Here Much Recently

I always have a kind of negative opinion about blog posts that talk about why the poster hasn't posted recently. But I guess sometimes it can be helpful for a long gap to be explained. In my case, I've been less likely to post on LJ (or my other blog) recently because I've been using the Book of Faces to update people on my life. I just realized,

A problem for me with Facebook is that the list of updates is always so incredibly long (stuffed with nonsense bulletins like "So-and-so has added the 'What shoe would you be?' application"), and my logins so infrequent, that I'm bound to miss the more meaningful messages therein. In fact, I don't think I've seen any of the Facebook updates you mentioned.

odd - now i am finding that it goes all the way back to when i started facebook (if i keep clicking "older posts") -- could have sworn they weren't there before...

Maybe they are still in there somewhere? I know only that I don't seem to be getting at 'em.

I can see mine by going to my profile page, scrolling down to the bottom, and clicking on "Show Older Posts" - I got back to October today before I tired of clicking.

Not that I am against you putting more posts on Livejournal, particularly for the reason Brad mentioned.
