It has been a rather uneventful couple weeks mostly. I'm starting to stress about finances a bit thanks to getting hit with a civil warrant for part of my medical bills. I wanted to work something out with them at a time when finances were tighter, but they wouldn't have it. I suppose I can take another shot at it and see if I can work out a deal

The second most important thing to do with a credit card is to pay it in full every month.
The third most important thing to do with a credit card is to not treat it as free money. If you can't afford it without the card, you can't afford it.
But you probably don't need *me* lecturing you about how consumer debt is slavery and a tool of class warfare. ;-)
The other very important thing, for your credit score, is to always pay all bills on time. Even if you can't pay the full amount, try to work something out where there's a payment plan that you can do.
