I don't even like white...

Well, I suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later, but one of my friends accused me of white-knighting and trying to get laid by calling him out for misogyny. I find it a little flattering in the sense that I was able to get under his skin and thus garner the label in his eyes. I've never viewed you as a "White Knight" - that seems ludicrous and if anything is just that "friend" trying to justify your seemingly illogical actions given that he doesn't think women are equals, so why should you?

He seems to be taking it well enough. He treats it like a mere pain in the ass, though I know he doesn't like to sit around in weakened chemo mode and that has more of an effect on him that he would like to admit.

I don't think you're white-knighting; I think that actually tends to come in on the *other* side of the debate, if I have my idioms correct...

Sorry to hear about your dad. My uncle had throat cancer - not sure if it was the same thing as this or not - and the hardest thing for him was losing his sense of taste. Everything tasted like mustard. He lost a troubling amount of weight, but he was already super skinny (if you've ever met my dad, they have the same build), so it didn't take much to be troubling.

Probably definition 4, because he does think women are totally in the wrong to walk around dressed like harlots (such cleavage and short shorts in the Summertime, disgraceful I tell ya), and so justifies taking efforts to creep them out...which, given Ogre, requires no real effort.
