Val was nice and she got along with him very well and it was great to have him around for the tours, but when it came down to it, Val was not Valentine. So while she had a good time with Val, at the same time she was pretty upset about it all. It really just confused her more than she really needed. Having kissed Valentine was confusing enough.
Kissed.That's right. She had almost blocked it out because it was just that confusing. She sighed again, this time out of frustrastion as she tossed another ball in Val's direction, maybe just a bit harder than usual. She watched as the ball smacked right at Val's forehead, causing him to stumble backwards, fall and hit his head hard against the front row seats of the tent ( ... )

"Helena! W-wait a minute!" He sat bolt upright, staring wildly around, and suddenly almost seemed afraid.
