Tor.com has provided me with two awesome bits of news recently, about two pieces I'm particularly proud of, one each.  Without further ado:

"Burning Girls" is incredible -- the narrative voice is just perfect. "Eyes like awls, eyes like icepicks." I admit, it broke my heart -- beautiful and moving story, though!

That is such stunning art, for both stories -- it's very appropriate, and very evocative. And "Among the Thorns" is breathtaking -- a wonderful retelling/rewriting/building-anew, on the bones of that hateful tale and the hateful hearts behind it. Gorgeous stuff.
