Haddock/Tintin huh?

Can someone explain this Haddock/Tintin pairing to me? It looks SO HAWT in fanart, but I can't get myself to watch the movie because Tintin is so fugly. Also not into the comic style at all. Someone please convince me to ship them. I want to so bad but I can't. D:

I have been a Tintin fan since I was little, but I just started shipping Haddock/Tintin since last year.

Basically? Read any Tintin fic kindkit has written. All of them are wonderful, but I love love love his longer fic One Small Step, which is incidentally a fanfiction about my favourite albums, Destination Moon and Explorers On the Moon.

Two other amazing authors are:

Miss M, who does great fic, although I'm not so inclined towards explicit stuff when it comes to Tintin.

Anyway, thank you for leaving the first response to my very old entry! The fanart is very lovely indeed, and I will check out the fics when I get the chance and let you know what I think. The character descriptions you gave have me hooked for sure. I love it when there's an unpredictable aspect to a character's personality, and even more when that aspect is worked into story somehow.

I needed to find a new fandom anyway. ;)
