I think I'm on the road to figuring a lot of things out. I'm beginning to realize just how badly my psyche was damaged by one of my parents growing up, how what happened killed my confidence and made me feel as though I was unlovable. I just thought that my last post might lead some of you to worry about my health, which is unnecessary. I'm fine, it turns out it was just gas, according to one of my med school friends that I've met here at the hospital.

I forgot my lunch and my wallet today, so I'm going hungry today : ( It just keeps getting better! : /

Looks like a long night of doing nothing (besides cleaning our gross apartment, which smells from roommate's pets and pot) tonight since I will be too tired to drive to Ashley's and I am too embarrassed by my place to have her over. Good times : /

I have been working like a fiend, and it's catching up to me. I'm simply exhausted, and it won't let up anytime soon. This week I have been coming in at 7 and not leaving until 6 at the earliest. Today is my 5-month anniversary with Ashley! I can't begin to say just how happy I am to have met someone like her, someone who loves me for who I am and actually appreciates me; she really has been a blessing from God Himself. Sweet jesus, today was a long and tiring day (emotionally and physically).
