As we feared, Maggie's swollen leg was indeed something much more sinister than osteo-arthritis. Kim got her to the vet this afternoon, they took an x-ray, and found she had a broken leg. man, that just seems really hard to me. i can't imagine losing my poodle although she is almost 10 and a runt, to boot.
