Came home from work at 10:30 last Friday morning. Ugh! Had a temp for a few days & thought I was over it. Yesterday, the head cold part started. DANG!! Not Fair!!

Monday was MLK day off school, Tuesday was a teacher in-service day and today is a snow day. Goodness! That's lots of days off school! The paycheck will be very skinny next ( Read more... )

I feel very fortunate to be working for the county. It is probably about as secure a job as there is around here. I read the other day that in Austin and surrounding cities as many as 9 schools may be closing due to budget deficits. Sorry to read that you were sick. I hope that you are over it by now. Hang in there!

Hi, I added you because you said you loved and honoured god (also because I visited Vermont as a 14 year old).

I am catholic by birth, but don't give religion or god any thought really. Then I was thinking, how do you feel god can help you with better finances?

PS I am not trying to be a smart-ass!
