Woah, that's a very thorough list of annoyances. :D

I skipped our local elections last time around. I wasn't prepared and I don't think it's right to do the whole enny meany miney moe thingy, ya know? I felt a little guilty at first but then thought better of it when I realized that hey, we live in a place that is predominately democrat... which is cool cuz that's my party so why worry? But what if I wanted to swing? I wouldn't be heard. Again why worry? You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. Of course if it were a presidential election you're still damned if you do and damned if you don't but why risk a bigger damnation. ;)

Well, since our federal, provincial and municipal elections all work with different parties, you've got to either get informed, or vote enny meany miney moe mode. Plus, things have been moving quite a lot around here, lately.

Lévis, which used to be called the PQ's stronghold on the provincial level, actually elected a Liberal deputy at the last provincial elections...which goes to show you just can't cancel your vote and think "your" party will get elected, simply because people generally vote for it in the region. Around here, at least.
