I hate perfection. I hate it with a passion. But I'll talk about that later ( Read more... )

Yes I actually did read all of that and that was an exceptionally good entry. I applaud you. I hate perfection too. Everyone's striving so hard to be so damn perfect, why can't they just be happy with the way they are and with what they have? I was going to say something about your political views but then you went and said that "James is a communist" thing, which kinda messed that up. *lol* But then again, I don't know. I guess it would depend if you were proud of your views or not. I guess you are. Hmmmm. The problem is I'm too nice. I find I don't pick up on people's flaws as quickly as other people do because I'm just not that critical. But like being this way. Guess I'll have to think on it then.

First of all, thanks a lot for the positive feedback, it is greatly appreciated.

You should talk to me more often, James, you'd notice faults in me, and just so you know, in my opinion, there is a slight difference between a nice person, and a person who just doesn't see the truth...or sometimes doesn't want to see it. I actually used the communist argument to illustrate how stupidly easy it would've been to say "You're proud of being Canadian" as a flaw, really, but I guess it made the game harder for you. Honestly, I felt it would've been an easy cheapshot for me to say that to you in response to your comment, and one I already almost abuse. Héhéhé

Anyway, I can only say one very obvious negative thing about you: You have serious problems with typing, sometimes. And you know what I'm talking about.

So, keep searching, and try to justify the reason I still chat with you, if you're unable to find anything, I guess I can only say it sucks.

I agree with you on that. Everybody has their flaws, and most of the time, they make a much bigger fuss of their flaws than others do. Take the appearance bit - yeah, your looks do affect people's initial reaction towards you, but after that the effect usually fades - the folks I'm mostly friendly with iRL, I don't really give a damn if they look good or bad. People worry far too much about their looks.

"Certain flaws are necessary for the whole. It would seem strange if old friends lacked certain quirks." -- Goethe

As for your flaws... well, I don't really know you well enough to answer that question. I suppose the fact that you're obsessed with finding flaws in people before befriending them doesn't count?

Nope, as I mentioned it in the entry :P

I don't think I know you enough to say anything either, sorry.

Nice entry, very nice.
Flaws, flaws, flaws. I'm looking for them.
You're slightly too stubborn. (This phrase was carefully built)
I could argue with you, and prove you're not a realist, as you believe, but actually a pessimist, and you would still disagree.
Strong personality? It probably is. But you're indeed slightly too stubborn.

Maybe I'd disagree because I have too good points for your "proof" to actually be acceptable(...hmmm...Ain't I almost proving you right with this statement?...), but yeah, I'm slightly too stubborn, as you put it. Might cause my loss, someday.

As for you, my friend, you're in for it. I could say you're a perfectionist, but it's wayyy too easy after writing this entry, so I'll say, as anyone who carefully builds his phrases, that even though you most likely don't lack spirituality, you are slightly too superficial :P. Gucci...pff...
