The last day of my vacation started early at 5:20 am. Jamie woke me complaining of sever lower back pain near his kidneys. I was scared to no end, thinking kidney failure or worse, but 3 hours at the emergency room revealed a small kidney stone which will pass in time, up to 12 days but most likely sooner.
