Last year's fall pour poster is even better - malevolent furnaces with bat wings in a night sky drooling molten metal on the world below. By the same guy, I believe.
I have a physical copy up in my room. You can see a small copy on the Iron Guild's website. I have hopes of doing a pour here. If any of the frosh [er, frosh or sophomores, I guess] were particularly psyched, I'll need all the help I can get...
you know, i got my current/first urop with dyed hair. if you have skillz (or can convince them anyway, like me) you should be fine. this is MIT, after all.
and yeah, the iron pours are pretty fun; i remember having a really fun time my freshman year, going around with a friend who went there. there were no bands, or firespinners, but they had stuff by the glass blowers along with the metalworkers, and i got a tour of their labs/studios, where all sorts of final project stuff was up (it was in may, i think).
