Once you've read DH, then read this recap. My boss kept walking by asking me what was making me laugh so hard.

I finally finished it, though I'd read the ending first (deliberately).

I ended up reading the recap in parallel, which was great. It was actually kind of useful, because the book was a little rambly and my eyes sometimes slid past important moments. The "all the sudden I'm in V's head" transitions were deliberately hard to follow but, well, yeah. They sure pointed out to me that I wasn't reading very carefully.

Thanks so much for posting that. I'm going to read it all at once now.

Yeah, my boss kept walking by asking why I was laughing so hard. I told him that once he finished the book, then I'd send him the link and he could find out. Now he's on a marathon reading session for lunch.
