Essentially either the bride or groom's best friend calls the show, they completely surprise the couple and they have 1 week to decide whether they want to get married or not. catethecute is arriving sometime this evening. In case you had any doubts, I am a procrastinator and I hate housework with a passion. There is always something better to do than cleaning, like playing on the internetz for example.

Must get back to cleaning. There is pet hair everywhere!

I forgot to mention this...one of Julio's clients had an "oops" litter of puppies. They are Bernese Mountain Dog/Australian Shepherd. They are looking to give the puppies away to good homes, with the condition that they will take the puppy back if someone is unable to keep it. I am seriously considering this ( Read more... )

Today would be her 63rd birthday. I had a dream about her last night. In the dream she drove up in her car, which is parked behind my house and hasn't run in 2 years. It was sad, but comforting at the same time. I'd be lying if I said I didn't wake up crying.

We came in dead last in the race last night. We were 4 actual minutes behind the first place boat, but on adjusted time we were 7 minutes behind. The third and fourth place boats were 3 and 4 minutes behind us, but 20 and 9 seconds in front of us on adjusted time. And the boat my dad's friend was fucking around with? It was not our best night. zephyrkel wasn't there, and neither was my dad. That means my dad's friend was "pretend captain." He spent the last leg of the race giving us wrong instructions, which we ignored, and fucking with another boat. Yesterday was the WUAS open house. I'll go into more detail about it later. It wasn't as good as previous ones (I wonder why...? lol). They didn't do any demos with the foals, so I could have gone with my roommate to the Preakness. Oh well ( Read more... )

We came in second in our race last night by 6 seconds on adjusted time! Our record this season is 2 win and 2 seconds so far this year!
