Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?

Actually, I am neither. I am Pro-Abortion. Thats right. I think Abortion should be mandatory unless you can pass a test proving you are ready and able to raise a child. I'm only half serious, but this article only makes me more serious about it ( Read more... )

It is nice to see someone else not afraid to take a pro-abortion stance. I will never understand people who think that "accidently" getting pregnant is a good reason to have a baby. If you didn't for whatever reason use birth control and it happened, ok, I wouldn't judge anyone for that - but that doesn't mean you have to go have a kid when you otherwise had no intention or desire to do so.

Ok off my soapbox now, lol. Sorry, that's one of the few topics that gets me riled up...

I thought I was the only one with such a radical idea about parenting. My idea though, was, lets not kill babies who are the victims of idiot parents, but just make the woman unable to conceive until she and the dad prove that they are responsible, decent people.

I agree with Jeff - after all, everyone needs a license to drive!!

Didn't read the article, but when I was in high school, I knew a girl who had her first kid at 14, (got marrid before delivery) and her second at 16. She was divorced by 18. Incidentally, her mother had had her at age 14, and her mother before her at the same age.

So..that's a great-grandmother at 42 and grandmother at 28. As this was 16 years ago, I can only guess how that family progressed....
