Once again I find myself in Atascadero briefly visiting my family and old stomping grounds of my childhood and teenage years. Yesterday was pretty nice, and I got to spend some quality time with my brother Max and my dad. We went out to Morro Bay for some early morning surfing. It was pretty nice, foggy, but the sea was gentle and the waves were ( Read more... )

Yay- the food bin! Right next to my first Santa Cruz house. Can you belive I miss Santa Cruz right now? Almost a year and half since I left... I'm glad I'm not the only one freaked out about the damage stupid people are doing to the earth. After I watched An Incovenient Truth, I was kind of mad that there isn't a movie about how much eating a hamburger affects the earth. Keep rocking Tucker.

this is a cool entry. i agree that it'd be great to just let the world kill us off (or more like let us kill ourselves off) so that the earth can return to balance, but the only bummer about waiting for that is that in the meantime, millions more plants and animals are going to go extinct, and that's sad. it seems like the longer we wait for the "crash" the harder it is going to be... that's why we need to bring it down sooner rather than later haha. anyway, i hope things are going well in SC! take care

That article I read was really depressing, it talked about all of the ALF and ELF actions in Oregon in the late nineties, and how the whole movement just collapsed. People betrayed eachother, and the direct actions they did to slow down developement and liberate animals were quickly undone by developers, and now they are all in prison (one committed suicide in his cell) and the earth continues to be raped by the mindless masses. I like to think that we can make a difference, but even if we cant, the earth will return itself to its proper state eventually through such things as "natural disasters" and even just oil wells running dry. I think it would be cool to see this sort of thing happen in our lifetime, and I dont think that is an unreasonable desire.
Hope tour is going well for all of you guys. The more I listen to the new album the more I like it. You guys should play some more new stuff when you play in Santa Barbara with 7G. miss you!

that bunny's name was Salvador, and Justin let him go into the wilderness of thousand oaks. He probably died or humped like mad with the natives.
