last tuesday i went to a party on market street. where i saw all these youngens as well... the oldest people there were juniors and there were maybe 2 of them... the rest were freshies and sophomores... i felt completely out of place. what was more awkward was that the people who lived there were ex-porter-freshman... they knew me only as an RA (even though i have never documented them-i have only had one documentation the whole last year and i was forced to do it by the RA i was on rounds with). anyway, yeah, it was way too weird.
i left the place early and came to the comfort of my own studio apartment where i proceeded to watch rerun on project runway and eat tacobell. this can't be my senior year in college. tucker, let's hang out.
please.

sweeeet. You should use the metronome in garage band so that it's easier to layer stuff in with the right tempo.

hmmm, yeah that sounds like a good idea, its a strange program. There are like different settings for different instruments, and i dont know how to just generally record. Also ive heard that the microphone built into the computer is pretty crappy. I guess i dont need the best quality for black metal though.

yeah, the built in mic is good enough for black metal. the only problem is that it'll pick up the noise of the computer (the fan and the hard drive and shit), which is totally unpure.

let me know if I can help with anything. I don't really have a complete drumset any more.

haha thanks, i talked to my co-worker joe, and he said he would contribute bass and would record when mike and I are ready.

In other news I recently ordered a copy of the new MFM 7". Do you send those out? when should I expect it?

tucker! i feel like a curious neighbor peaking over the fence at your life reading your journal... but i guess that what LJ's kinda are like anyway... regardless, you make me miss santa cruz... even though i'm sure it might feel awkward being the "big kid" still in the small town, but hey... coming from someone who's moved out, with an almost grown-up job and practically a marriage- enjoy the time you still have in s.c. and the food bin is a cool place! CUPCAKES! and you're making music! i'm jealous of your new garage tools. you'll set your after-college-life in stone soon enough, but until then, enjoy the effing college parties, older blokes, and all that jazz. cuz why not?

hahaha, thanks tyler, your life sounds pretty exciting as well. Modeling, and just life in the city, sounds like youve got things more or less figured out. Are you still doing music? If not you should, your voice was beautiful.
