February 29 - March 2 . . . The old home of Gen Con, the largest gaming-centric convention in the country is now home to the second-largest anime convention in Wisconsin. And the Gasthaus is one of the shining examples of why my school is awesome. More than once, I have had a drink inbetween classes. And since it's run by college students, the mixed drinks are heavy on the liquor. :D

Anime Milwaukee is in the right city and at the right time of year to become huge if they can just get the word out about the con more. If I hadn't talked to their people at Geek.kon, I wouldn't have known about it at all.

Of course, I was at Marscon that weekend promoting No Brand Con - as I love Marscon - so I couldn't go. One week off, and I could do both - but alas, it could not be.
