That script looks super cool. That second PDF is weird, though! It's almost like some weird dialect of Japanese or something.

I agree -- the second PDF is very weird. It doesn't match at all with what's in the VLD , or the VLI and over at Memory Alpha.

And since the other 3 all agree with each other and this one doesn't . . .

It's probably just someone else's approach to Vulcan. The directory is a messy katamari of files, this "guide" might not have even been a lesson.
