"So... if you could be with any one of my friends, which one would it be."

Guys, when you hear that, do you cringe in the self-realization that there is no answer that has any positive ramifications?  (Unless she has someone in mind, which you know deep down she doesn't, does she?)

Ladies - have you ever wanted to ask that question... and if so, what ( Read more... )

The only proper response I could think of to that question is one I heard on That 70's Show: "Oh, is that what we're going to do tonight? We're going to fight?"

I remember that moment. Excellent retort. The fact that Red was sitting in the recliner, reading the paper, and put down the paper when Kitty asked him a similar question to fire it off with a grin was just perfect.

It's even better if you imagine his Clarence Boddicker from Robocop doing it.

Yeah, but he wouldn't say it. He'd just say "Bitch leave."

Thought of that question once. Never tempted to ask it.

When I saw the commercial, I was shocked. There are going to be a lot of people fighting in the country.

No good can come from a question like that.

It's for Old Spice body wash and shampoo. He's in the shower lathering up. She's looking in the mirror applying her eye liner.

Here is the premise

her - "honey, if you were to be with one of my friends, who would it be?"
him - grabs body wash and works it into his hair, over his ears.
her - "you can tell me, it won't bother me"

tagline - Old Spice Body wash and Shampoo shouldn't everything be this easy.

I think some women want to know if their husbands or whatever would be with any of their friends if all parties were single (i.e., great tragedy where they die). Maybe it could be comforting to some women to know their men would be with a trusted friend.

The way my mind works, though, if I asked that question, it would be because I suspected my husband of something. And that is why I guess I've never thought about that question.

I also wondered which commercial that was from... I've made it plainly clear to my dear husband that any extramarital playtime is a no-go. Male or female. He wonders why sometimes, but then I think he's just kidding. And then I HOPE he's just kidding.
