[Now that he's mostly better from the fight with Hazama, and that things have finally died down a little... even if things aren't quite back the way that he wants them, an idea struck Adell.  Granted, it came about more during that period of bright inspiration a couple of days ago, but it was one of several.  Adell picks up his journal.]

[Having heard the message before dozing off for a bit earlier, Koakuma has decided to wander over from next door to talk about that trip Adell mentioned, but...hm. She must have gotten back up after his quick stop home, since it appears he isn't there. She will be waiting for him to come back instead of calling him over the journals, not at all suspecting that once again something has happened to one of his friends.]

[Adell will return home eventually, the bag of milkshake ingredients still with him. But with an unusual addition. Koa will see him carrying a large, somewhat wicked looking black bow. And his expression looks... tired. Not necessarily as stressed or worried as it would've been while Noel was missing. But if she looks closely enough, his eyes are probably red and tired.

For now he steps into the apartment, and does not immediately notice her as he turns around and locks the door.]

[Koa notices the bow quickly, and already recognizing it as not his style, she realizes that something is up. Once she sees that he seems a bit tired as well, she begins getting an idea of what that something is. So much for simply discussing those weekend plans...]

[Huh? He'll turn around and catch sight of her, blinking to realize she was really there.]

[He looks down at the bow for a moment, almost as though he realized he was actually carrying it. He swallows back what's left of the tension in his throat and speaks, a little hesitantly.]

...Rebecca. Rebecca was sent home.

[Ohhhh no. She knows exactly where this is headed.] A...another friend of yours? [At this point, she's beginning to wonder: why do all of these different things keep happening to Adell's friends?]

...Yeah. I'd known her for... several months now.

[He sighs, trying hard to cheer up.]

...But at least she's going back home to someplace safe and to her family.

That's...at least there's any good news in it at all...

[But she realizes that the last few months have been particularly rough, and she doubts that either of them want to keep thinking about stuff that's happened, so! Attempted change of subject is go?]

[Yay! ...And then she realizes something; she has no idea how exactly social gatherings work. Back home, before ending up here, she did basically stay indoors all day every day.

I-is there anything in specific I would have to do? How do I prepare for something like this? Should I find what I did with that one dress I arrived here with? What about my journal, should I keep it with me while I'm there? Do you think Flonne will be back in time? And what about...um...Mom? [Yes, she still finds it awkward to call Mom, well, Mom.] Do you think she would come? Will I have to learn how to swim? It won't cause any problems for my wings, will it? What do I do if it does?

Uh. Slow down, Koakuma. Gimmie a second. [He runs through the questions in his head again, remembering what ones he can.]

Okay, I don't think you have to worry about too much. If you have a swimsuit, you'll want to bring it if you want to go swimming. If you don't, you'll probably want to go find one you like. You can bring your journal with you, probably best you do anyway in case something comes up.

Uh... if you need to learn how to swim, I can teach you. And... the water shouldn't cause you problems with your wings. I guess if it does, just... get out of the water?

[He knows he probably missed some, but those were the ones he most actively remembered.]

I went swimming a lot when I was younger on Veldime as part of my training. Works just about every muscle in your body!
