035 [Action, backdated to Afternoon]

[So, everything had been a normal day so far.  Adell got up early in the morning, went training like usual.  It wasn't unusual for him not to see Mom or Flonne first thing in the morning, so he went off and did his thing.   It's when he got home later that day when something happened.  Looking to see what Mom was up to, he knocked on her door,

[Terra arrives at the barracks at some point, for her usual training routine. She's about begin stretching, but Adell's presence and...vigorous...attacks catch her attention. Upon seeing that, she pauses and watches him with growing concern.]

[And oblivious to Terra's presence, he'll launch another vicious string of attacks. Though not sloppy or careless, his attacks lack restraint. The blows he is landing are devastating and sharp. And of course, that orange aura's present, which is rare while he's doing normal exercises.]

[That aura worries her even more. She's perfectly aware of how Adell normally behaves during training, and this...isn't it.

Ignoring thoughts of her own training for now, she heads over.]

Adell?

[He finishes out his combination with a brutal flaming punch to the sternum of a dummy, making the support that bolted it into the ground creak sickeningly.

...Terra's voice registers somewhere in his mind as the blow connects. He'll look over his shoulder at her. Then he straightens up from his attack pose. The aura's still roaring strongly, but he's trying to calm down for Terra's sake. His voice comes out a little flatly.]

Hey, Terra.

[Hi, it's starting to get dark out and Remilia is doing her thing and exploring.

And giving Adell a look of total curiosity when she runs across him.]

[...Well, he honestly looks quite in a foul mood, very much unlike how she's first seen him and likely seen him since. When he sees Remilia, he'll pause in his trek, though. He'll do his best to sound polite, but there's a distinct sense he's got something on his mind.]

Hello, Adell. You can continue what you were doing.

...Other than stewing with anger, I'm not really doing anything.

[He realizes that came off shorter than he really meant it to sound.]

...I'm sorry. [He pauses, and looks around. He doesn't want to be mean to his new neighbor, so he'll just give her the explanation.] ...My Mom was just kidnapped by the Malnosso.

*Meiling is right outside her apartment so of course she hears the loud bang and the storming out of the apartment. She tries to stop him to see what's wrong.*

Hey, er, Adell?

[...Considering she's right outside, she'll probably catch him while he's still glowing up a storm. Forgive him for being a little short, Meiling.]

Yeah?

Did something just happen? I heard a noise inside your room... If you're gonna go start a fight with someone you have to take Hong Meiling with you. I'm an important ally when it comes to fighting.

[Only minutes after Adell has left, Koa goes over from next door to see what was going on, and-]

[Cleaning up the mess...everything except for that fresh hole in the wall. Whenever Adell returns, he'll find that Mom's room has been straightened up to the best of Koakuma's ability; she's been over enough times that she should have a decent idea of where everything belongs.]

[...Well it's kinda awkward when Adell punches a hole in the wall. It's more awkward when you happened to be on the other side of the wall. Or well, close to it. It's for this reason that Charlotte attempts something new - crawling out of a window - to intercept Adell as he starts to leave.]

[As he's leaving the building, most of that orange glow fades. But yeah, he's still looking like he could scare away a swarm of pissed off hornets just with a glare.

He doesn't yet notice Charlotte, so it's up to her on how she wants to approach this.]

[And Charlotte... skips on out to end up in front of him after a bit of a run, smiles, and leans in on him]
