Well, an idea hit me. I've been wanting to set up a concert for Luka to perform at. And then it hit me. Don't you guys often do parties for when New Feathers show up as a sort of... mixer thing?

That's right! At least, we've tried to start doing that since the beginning of this year. A concert sounds like a wonderful idea! Perhaps at the Rec Center?

I was thinking of converting the Battle Dome lobby for a day. It's larger, got air conditioning, stuff like that. Also, it's got those vending machines so we don't have to haul all the snacks and drinks in the world over there.

People might get a little upset about shutting it down for a day, but I figure if we announce it in advance it won't cause too much trouble. And it's only for a few hours at that.

You want a gift from her, right? She's actually been spending much of the morning - more or less since he left - getting it in order. Namely, she is baking him a cake. Or well, that's Phase 1, but it should be more than ready by the time he's home, albeit she's still in the kitchen in her apron]

Come into the kitchen! [Vivi and Silvie and Luka are all probably around somewhere, but right now she's the only one in the main area, as far as she knows. She just finished the finishing touches on the cake - so that's thee and read for later, but aside from that she's there wearing some of the jewelery she's gotten from him over time and waiting with two boxes in hand. One small, one bigger]

Techno, huh? I think that's popular in some circles where I'm from too, but I've never listened to much of it.

It is the use of...systems, programs to create music. Sampling, overlapping beats and symphonic harmoines...

It is difficult to describe. I'm not an mp3. They could explain it better.

...I see. [That's a very odd way of putting it, but it made some sense in a very weird way.]

But I didn't think mp3s could talk. I thought they were just the format music came in.

[At least, that's what it seemed like with Luka's mp3 player.]
