[He keeps going on his way for a short while before he stops. He takes a measured moment... he feels like he's being followed. It's a gut instinct his elevated state of power is giving him, and at first he's not sure to check or dismiss it as paranoia.

Still... it never hurts to be safe.

Adell slowly turns around to look for what might be tailing him. And he'll see Mami and end up locking eyes with her.

He doesn't say anything in that instant, but he seems to be waiting to see how Mami is going to react to his... rather scary appearance.]

[He can kind of tell she's unnerved. Maybe not panicked level, but he does catch a certain unease in her.]

...I've been better, yeah. It's just been one thing after another.

[And it just so happens that it's that bridge he needs to cross to get back to House 44 to pick up a few things. Adell silently curses to himself as he approaches the bridge, hoping he'd be able to avoid... just about anyone while he was out. A bit folly, given the time of day and the route. But nevertheless.

Adell approaches the bridge. Right now that sickly dark purple aura around him is active, though not as intense as it has been. It's going to be very hard for him to slip by unnoticed, glowing and evil looking as he is.]

[He halts when addressed by name.]

[Adell confirms his friend's suspicions with only a word. He looks right at him. How do you like the unintentionally sharp glare he's giving you? Or maybe it's just because of the contrast. Either way...]

[Terra of course knew about Adell's kidnapping almost right away. She spend some time frantically searching before bowing to the inevitable and realizing there was nothing to do but wait. Even so, she heads out of her own house every so often to glance at his, hoping that he'll emerge from it at some point....]

[Eventually, a figure does step out of his house... one that looks very much like Adell. And from a distance it might be hard to spot the differences that are present in him.

Right now all he's carrying is a gym bag. Hard to say what's in it, but it looks like he's leaving the house again.]

[Immediately, Terra rushes over. She doesn't stop, even upon noticing differences the closer she gets.]

[That voice. It's pretty much the only voice he wouldn't hesitate for. He turns immediately to her when she comes close.]

Hey, Terra.

[...This is the most relaxed he's felt around anyone. He knows of all people Terra won't be afraid of him, no matter what he looks like. She knows what he is, and has long since accepted it and it's... actually done nothing but strengthen their friendship.]

[Noel had been aware of Adell's kidnapping as well as the earlier announcement he had posted only seconds before. She's been worried, but has held on to the hope that he'd come back in one piece.

That's why, when she sees him from behind, she can't help but feel a little too relieved. There's no mistaking that hair.]

Adell! [Annnd running on over.]

[He knows that voice. Initially, he's a little hesitant to turn and face her. He knows what he looks like, but by now... she knows what he is. He can only hope that the knowledge will stop her from being scared off.

His appearance is still monstrous though. He can't really blame her if she does end up scared or unnerved.

...So he'll turn when his name is called.]

[And though she's aware of that vital knowledge, the fact that this could be happening because of that doesn't immediately dawn on her. Noel doesn't even know what to say at first as she stands there as a sitting duck, because... that... she...]

[Litchi's just out for a walk when she spots Adell from a distance. So he's been returned already? She pauses for a moment, not too sure what to say aside from offer whatever help she can give. It's hard enough to have lost a loved one back to their home, but to have been kidnapped by the Malnosso afterward? Best to see if he's okay.

It isn't until she's fairly close that she can finally see well enough to spot the pointed ears and red eyes and the different wings.

...Oh god.]

[He shifts his gaze over to Litchi. Not gonna lie, making eye contact with him is probably kind of scary, but it's something he always forgets about.]

Litchi?

[He can hear that hesitation. ...By now he's pretty much used to it.]

[The fact that he's not outright attacking like Mu did is something of a relief.]

It's a relief to see you're back again... Are you alright? [What did they do to you?]
