[First thing in the morning, Adell gets up and gets ready like usual.  ...Though instead of immediately leaving for the barracks, he heads into the living room.  He needs to have a talk with Mom before he heads out

[For once Mom's taking it easy, curled up on the couch with a few loose leafs of paper in her hands. At Adell's request she looks up, eye on her forehead opening.]

[Patting the empty side of the couch with her hand.]

[He comes over to sit down next to her. How was he going to approach this? ...Well, the way he knew how. He takes in a deep breath.]

[Adell will stop what he's doing when he realizes he's being addressed. Which was his agility training. So he was doing a lot of jumping around and the like.]

Nope. That's just part of my daily training regimen. It's meant to keep me limber and agile.

[Stahn was heading to get lunch himself after his own vigorous training session outside his house. It was only by chance that these two happened to be heading to lunch at the same time.]

[Looking back over his shoulder, a familiar and welcome face. He'll brighten some to see a good friend of his. He'll stop his faster than normal walking pace.]

[He catches up to Adell and begins to walk alongside him.]

Not much! I'm taking a break from my training to get some lunch. You?

Same. Pretty hungry today.

[He unconsciously rubs the knuckles on his right hand. They weren't hurt, but he was a little tired from the sheer number of punches he had done during strength training. Being a demon and supernaturally durable had its advantages, definitely. Though Stahn might not be the most perceptive individual in Luceti, Adell's demeanor might come off as a little restless.]

[Terra enters the barracks, intending on a little training before heading to lunch. She perks up when seeing Adell, though pauses to watch for a moment. When she does speak, her voice is a little concerned.]

...Adell? Is something wrong?

[After delivering a shattering series of punches to a dummy, he registers he's being talked to. He looks back over his shoulder at Terra, then turns to face her. His expression is more serious than normal, but he's not going to lie about it. Especially to her. His voice makes no attempt to hide his emotions... he knows he can speak freely with her, at least.]

...Yeah. [He shakes his head.] I'm frustrated and pissed off that people are getting hurt here and there's not a damn thing I can do to stop it.

The Malnosso I've accepted I can't do anything about. But with all the asses here intent on hurting innocent people? Haven't been able to do a damn thing about it.

[He spins around on his heel and in the blink of an eye kicks the head clean off of the dummy he was practicing on. He doesn't turn back around, instead watching the head fly off and strike a wall, then roll along the ground.]Sure, we stopped the Medic, but only after he killed Klonoa. [Terra steps in closer, but still gives him plenty of room, if he needs to further abuse the dummies. She sighs, nodding in agreement. Not even close to just giving up, she understands well the need to vent.]

So am I. It's hard enough on us just being here, without people like them adding to the misery. Every time I heard about someone else this week, it was too late to be of any help to them. They'll come back...but doesn't make what happened any less horrible. And then if it comes to killing the ones responsible, that won't really fix anything. They'll just return, too. The only hope we have is that they would do so a little weaker than before.

[She gnaws her lip.]

It can be really discouraging....

[Adell walks over and picks up the head of the dummy he kicked off. He gently lets it roll back and forth in his hands for a moment, seemingly lost in thought. Though a moment later he heads back to the training dummy, and attempts to re-affix it back on the neck.]

It is. It really is. I'm used to the Netherworld. Never thought I'd say I miss it, but damn if I don't right now. But at least the innocents who die here aren't lost forever.

[After some effort, he manages to reattach the head back on the dummy. Almost like new. Maybe.]

All we can do is try to incapacitate and lock them up in the tunnels now, I guess. But knowing our luck, they'll be back out in full force in two weeks rather than one without a death penalty in place to weaken them. This sucks. Still, all else fails we beat them down until they're blind, deaf, and mute.

[He mutters the next part, but it's still pretty clear.]

...wouldn't mind doing that to Kefka.

[Lets say Kyle just return from this thread. He is about to enter the barracks to take a quick lunch, but notices Adell instead. Meet Stahn's precious son, Adell.]

Oh, I saw you in the meeting. You look so tense today, what's wrong?

[Adell halts his training when he's interrupted. Slowly, he turns around and glances back at who addressed him. ...He raises an eyebrow almost immediately. Damn, this kid looked a lot like Stahn. What, is it his kid brother or something? Never talked about him before... Then again, he was there at the Rogues meeting, like he said. Huh.]

...Frustrated, mostly.

[Kyle frowns a bit. He doesn't know what was going on but he guess possibly it was about the murders. He rubs his head, thinking if he could help Adell.]

Well uh... I'm not really helpful much but... Cheer up a bit, mister. I do feel the same thing but getting frustrated isn't a good solution.
