This past Friday night, Blade and my niece Ashley were at my house. Blade had just told me that he likes my shaved head look and to keep it. Ashley had a different opinion. The conversation went something like this…

That conversation is so funny, which reminds me that my son saved his dreadlocks too, a very keepable item just like your ponytail ..:)

LOL, ya know Jim, I think you're a longhair at heart. I would have liked to have seen you keep your hair but I do understand why you cut it.

It's been quite an adjustment to not having long hair. It's actually still a bit surreal after having had long hair for so many years.

If my hair had not left me, I'd never have left it. I'd have had long hair until the day I passed.
