Day 1: San Antonio to Chicago to Frankfurt
Flight delayed…TWICE!

One hour delay to board plane.

One more hour sitting in the plane on the tarmac.

Arrival time in Chicago pushed back to 7:10.

Making the connection seemed unlikely.

Finally landed, supposed to go to Gate H16.

Last minute gate change to H10.

No one at H10 to receive plane, ( Read more... )

The TSA is the Transportation Safety (or Security or whatever) Administration. Picture a bunch of under-educated, lower IQ, high school dropouts getting low wage jobs in which they get to wear a uniform and badge and act like Mister Cop. They inspect bags and stuff like that. They obviously steal good stuff when they can get away with it. In short, you're better off with retarded lab monkeys. At least they don't steal.

I wish I was hot. But thanks for the compliment. :-)

I love your holiday, you saw such a lot and those pics in Brugges, to die for, even the canal. Cruising the canal eating chocolates, divine!
I must do that.

Thanks for posting, I was interested to learn what you did on your trip. So happy you stayed away from the blue light specials :p Oh btw, I think I am in love with Amsterdam..:)

Amsterdam is great, but Brugge (we call it Bruges here in the U.S.) is much nicer. Belgium has always been my favorite European nation, so I'm biased. :-)

Yes...Belgium chocolate. Yimmy. The people at work were crazy about it. It really is the best chocolate I've ever had.

Window shopping at the blue light area was interesting. "Hey baby...come on. Nine inches here." Hahahahahaha.

I'm glad to see you're back to writing in your journal, I've
missed that! Your vacation sounded wonderful, barring the few difficulties, what an awesome account of your trip. Keep writing! ;-) Helen G. BTW, I will have to agree with Dee!

I will try to hit LJ more often. It's great for the longer entries. I find myself using FB for the shorter ones.

Oh, and thanks for the compliment. But...we both know I'm average at best. :-)

What's the latest on Mike's bike. I still don't have mine.

Nothing on the bike . Mike finally heard from him today, after leaving him a message on Monday. He hasn't even looked at it yet. He said his mom passed away so he's been gone. Mike won't give him too much longer before he tells the guy to forget it. I'll let you know what happens.

It was a great trip, and really better than the last couple of trips I've made over there. The volcano kind of threw a monkey wrench in the plans, but it's all good. :-)

Fabulous to hear about and see your trip!

"I had a very interesting but very delicious dinner." Why do you describe the dinner as 'interesting' in Brugge.

Hey, did you bring me back a chocolate penis!?

Had I known you wanted a black cock, I'd have brought you one. Hahahaha!
