I have not done a good job at keeping up with LJ. I’ve basically gotten lazy, really. I’ve been using FB more, and as a result have not been writing as I really should. After all, with a 420 character limit, you can’t get too deep on FB. That’s the one thing I miss about LJ…the ability to actually compose something meaningful. Perhaps worse is that ( Read more... )

FB has that way of sucking you in. We need that fast paced quick fix blurb, but there is no real substance.

If the time comes where I have to seek additional work, I will, but while I can enjoying making money at something I enjoy doing, I'm going to do it damn it.

"True friends and life partners awaken the true you and show you the way to living your one shot at life with passion and joy." As it should be. And I'm very grateful to be able to call you my friend. You have inspired me in many ways, Jim and you continue to do so.

Thanks for your kind words! You have been a true friend and have done so much good for me...and continue to do so.

You're doing the right thing. Make your living by pursuing your passion. Like you said...if you can make money doing what you love, it would be foolish not to do so.

Best wishes. :-)

There are certainly days when making a living from your passion is dull. Like this quilt that I'm attempting to finish now. It's so completely non-creative and I have dreaded working on it. But it still beats sitting in an office, for me anyway!
