You could go to uni in Japan, it's nigh on impossible to go straight into one, (well, just lots of faff, you know el nihon and forms of dooom), but I know quite a few people who've done a year or two of a degree in X country then transfered their degree to a Japanese uni, which avoids the crappy we're snotty so you have to our highschool equivalent exams that some of them have. Haha, Todai even makes you submit a "mini-thesis" for them, as part of applications.

It think, whatever you do, you should go for it 100% percent. :D

I strongly urge for #3, namely attending a university in Japan. I had a friend who did it, and she was quite pleased with the results.

International school 8D? Intensive Japanese language education (or whatever you want, really) is possible from within the country, conducted especially for English speakers. You can probably find programs online :x
