17 - This past year has plenty of highs and lows.

I believe it was around June that I visited David (Scratch) in Utah and went to Element11 with him. It was quite an amazing experience. I enjoyed it a lot. I felt like it was the most welcoming atmosphere I have ever been in. Like I did not need to worry about being myself at all. I could just star up a conversation with anyone there. And of course, the burning of the great wooden edifice temple (shaped like a pineapple) and the magnificent fire dancing show preceding the final bonfire.

And certainly this past week has been pretty memorable as well. I have been host to an international visitor. This David hails from down under and was in the states to visit some friends he had in Oregon and me here in Colorado. I am very happy with how we have spent the five days he was in town. Im also very happy that he could get some amazing photos of a real Colorado sunset. Is it just me or is the sky a great deal prettier in the winter? I definitely care for David quite a lot, and cannot describe how happy I was to see him again. ^_^

The illness I was struck with right before David flew in is pretty memorable as a low of the past year. Being sick is never fun. Our move to the new apartment could have gone a lot smoother, and more streamlined. And let us not forget our former landlady, whom I still strongly believe misappropriated our security deposit to fix expensive problems that were there when we moved in. I have maintained a steady debt for the medical fines from November of 09. However, since I pay regularly to my Capital One credit card, the debt does not affect my credit score at all, and I actually have a rather high credit score.

I am sure there are plenty of other highs and lows that do not immediately come to mind, but I suppose this is a good start as to my highs, and my not so highs. So here's to staying high! ;D
