Just some thoughts on my family.

I find it really weird how my family acts. A few days ago, I was talking to my family about going to college. They were all for it, and asking information. But then they sit down and ask me, "How are you going to pay for it, cause we don't want you to get financial aid." I look over to them, and I wonder what the hell they want me to do. For years

I use to think that family love should be reasonably unconditional

I'm lucky in that my parents and siblings are good to me. However, the rest of my family could eat shit for I care. They act just like that. They want to be your family when you are doing things their way, but if not, you are the outcast. May that bullshit compound over them and crush them.

Do what you want and can to make your life better. If they want nothing to do with you, make a note for when you get a great job and they want money from you. The best revenge is living better than those who have offended you.
