This is just a heads-up for anyone who might be interested. My birthday is in about a week (Wed Dec 6); my age will be x ≡ 8 (mod 10). (Hey, if I have to suffer through modular arithmetic, I can at least inflict a bit of that suffering on others too

Actually, that is the rest of the equation. (X, my age, is congruent (modulo 10) to 8. As for what that actually *means*, well, that's where the fun comes in. ;) )

I will be announcing time/location later this afternoon, but the plan is this Wed evening at 7:30.
