If it's the first major online retalier that one thinks of in the area, and it's for a dev position, I'd say... algorithms (which ones are appropriate for which situations), and how to write a toy program in the C-like language of your choice (C++ and Perl ideal) that implements one of these algorithms, over the phone. IIRC, for the technical phone interview I did (which was for a contractor dev position), that's pretty much what we covered ( ... )

It is indeed said company, though it's for SDET rather than SDE. Talking code over the phone seems, um... rather a pain, but I'll work on it. :) Thanks for the info!
