cash isn't preferable for high dollar sales places... too many risks, such as employee skimming and the risk of taking cash to the banks (robbery in transit). it's why we wouldn't allow people to pay for their housing in cash at UNT. i sure as hell didn't want to carry hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash every day to the bank... ;)
