It was quite a place to be, my shoes that is. The weekend went wonderfully. Friday night was oddness, but I'm quite over that. Saturday was spent cleaning. And I mean FUCKING CLEANING. I said it about 10 times and I'll say it again...that Michelle is cute as a button! She was very nice and I love her smile. I thought you guys were hooking up though!

Yeah, I wish she and I were hooking up. Somehow my life always seems to thread in the direction away from hooking up and stuck in Friendville, USA.

I respect her position, as unfortunate as it is for her and I both. She recently escaped an abusive relationship, and is building a new life. She has a lot going on, and adored her time in Orlando. It was a nice break. But her words were, "I'm emotionally unavailable right now." I didn't want to press it.

And so endeth that Saturday night as I walked her out, into the rain and to her car. At 8am or so, after the whole party and after party, and some nice talk time between us, she drove away and I watched her go in the morning blue haze and rain. Then I slept.
