Shopping Sucks

Well, I went shopping tongiht. I found one thing. ONE THING. I HATE shopping at this time of year. I couldn't find anything, I wasn't inspired by anything for anyone, and all I really want is to be with people have have fun, but that's hard to wrap, and harder to deliver when I won't be around for X-Mas.

I can't afford to get anyone anything this year so I told all my friends not to get me anything....it's been kinda nice not having to shop this year. ;o)

And I hate people who are shopping. This is my first (and pray that it is my last) Christmas working in retail. People are getting palpably meaner. I hold back from asking them what is the point if it makes them this angry.

And Christmas may be a little more than a week away, but having been surrounded by Christmas merchandise, and focused on the Christmas season since October, it doesn't seem any more like Christmas than it did a month ago.
