...for Bastille Day!

I've been hoarding WIPs for a while, and I wanted to wait until I had a whole bunch finished before I re-opened this journal - but since I missed July 4th I thought I should at least get my act together for Bastille Day.

So for now, here's a peasant farmer France and a naked France sketch and an unrelated WIP teaserHopefully ( Read more... )

Eee, thank you both! &hearts

I do love a good excuse to leave a man's shirt open. I-it's hot in the fields, ok? :D

I want to draw a 19th century military officer France next. I think France would be a perfect fit in the role of the rakish, bad influence officer that always appears in victorian novels to corrupt the formerly well-behaved protagonist and/or seduce his innocent sister. AND THIS SHOULD CULMINATE IN A DUEL.

YES. Do it. I liked how you added the "and/or seduce his innocent sister" there. lol.

I think I'm going to stalk you this morning. :D Your art is just lovely!

France's job in the modern age is modeling for art students.

Obviously.

Naturally! He does it for free, even. Sometimes totally uninvited. HE'S SUCH A MUSE.

Romania grew on me so fast. His little teeth and his little smirk and his little hat, what a cutie.

Loving France in the farmer outfit. I have a soft weakness for those outfits. I'd love to see England in one <3

Romania looks fab so far!

LOOK AT YOUR NATION. NOW BACK TO ME. UNFORTUNATELY, YOUR NATION IS NOT ME.

What does France smell like, I wonder? Sweat, wine, lavender and roses? Though I hope he'd smell like fresh bread, mmmm

Aw, now I want a baguette ;o;

France smelling like a baguette.

Baguettes are always right, never wrong! I want to go to France one day and eat everything that I can afford.

Oh dear lord, please tell me how I can stalk you properly?

The smooth lines and soft, earthy colours are much appreciated and loved.

And France as a peasant is surprisingly a pleasant thought. involving grape vines and fine dining.
