the { first ✚ impression } memeOn the other topic of this post now! I'd like to ask anyone, anyone at all, if they have any possible ways to relax away headache and/or migraine pain. I've had this headache more or less constantly since the 4th of this month, and it was a migraine twice so I'm kinda desperate to at least help with the pain. I'm not ( Read more... )

Uhh, I don't know about migraines myself. All the types of headaches I've had easily either go away by their own (because I ignore most of them anyway) or I take tablets for. Sorry!

Also~ I'll scan that picture in tonight. :|

You're such a lucky. Let me clone your headache-less-ness. Or...something. *sob*

And yay picture! =D If imagining it ends up in my dreams I'm going to probably water balloon you. =|

What are migraines for I have never, ever had one! Oh ho ho ho! But I'll ask my family for you later on.

Whaat. :| But it isn't that bad, I think, since the art can get dodgy? Like, their stuff isn't that nicely drawn.

They're...well... Like headaches to the point where it's so painful you feel like someone is trying to break your head open with multiple hammers. They tend to make you VERY sensitive to light and sound, which just make it worse. They can disrupt your vision, and sometimes they can make you physically ill due to the pain. =X

Things in my dreams end up pretty, even if the initial exposure to something isn't. XD I don't think I've had a...well...badly drawn dream.

That's not entirely true, it's just that you get used to the medication after a while. At least that's all that's happened to me. Usually medication's main problem is like...if you take them with little food in your stomach they can make you feel slightly to very ill. Kinda flu-like.

But I got headaches before I would even willingly take pills. And when I got my first migraine I decided I couldn't leave them alone, when that one left me near unable to see straight and just bawling for hours. =< Kinda like this last one, actually. They're such bitches.

I honestly can't either. I mean, I'm usually fine in winter, I haven't been eating the same exact things every day, I've never reacted like this to medicine before and this has been my sleep pattern for...well...way too long to remember. XD

Once I get to see a doctor and get to talk about it, I'll re-consider looking over all of those things you mentioned if it isn't anything more serious. I mean, this started when I was stuck with nothing but diet drinks last week. So if it goes away within the next few days I'll try and avoid diet anything for a while to see if it helps. If not, I'll try and consider something else.

Well, the only things that i can really recommend is to try avoiding the computer for a bit, avoid caffine and sugar, and hope they go away.

Unless you're cutting back on Soda, in which case consume more caffine because that's the problem. Or at least that seems to be the case with me.

I'll see what I can do about trying those things. Thank you~ ^^ Avoiding caffeine entirely probably isn't a good thing to try, but I'll cut back on how much soda I drink. Withdrawals kinda suck. Any little thing helps, so thanks for the ideas~ =D

I find that aromatherapy helps me a lot! Mints or anything light and soothing (sometimes even rose) help me get the relaxation going. My company used to make rollers, but now we don't... however health food stores sometimes have an A-T section that might help you.

I don't actually get sound sensitivity with migraines (just everything else) so I listen to a really nice New Age Zen CD that I'd be happy to share. A warm towel or heat pack to the back of the neck sometimes helps me, as does finding somewhere comfortable to lay down that ISN'T my bed. I associate our couch, for example, with sicky-time naps, so it's easier for me to relax and nap things off there.

And have you tried Head-On, or any other topical migraine or headache relief medications? I didn't believe it til I tried it, but it's about half homeopathic anyway.

I hope some of this helps, dear!

Most relaxing scent I have is actually my eucalyptus/spearmint lotion, since I lost my fabric spray of that stuff among boxes at my dad's. I never thought of using it for anything but asthma relief, so I think I'll try that~

I mostly get sensitive to light and loud sounds. Something quiet might help though. That CD sounds like it could be pretty relaxing in general, though, so it'd be pretty useful to have.

I was actually pretty skeptical that anything applied to the skin could possibly work. I don't usually believe commercials, but if you say it works, even if it's just a little bit, I'll see what I can do about trying it sometime.

Every little bit helps~ Thank you~ ♥

I use Tranquil Mint by Bath & Body Works for my headaches.

That's the album I use to relax. If that upload doesn't work, let me know and I'll upload it myself. Roomie is torrenting right now, so I'm having some spotty issues. Anyway, I meditate to that CD allll the time. <3

I hope you feel better, love!

I'll look into it the next time I can afford to get something that smells awesome~

Thank you~! The rar file links seem like they work~ I've never seen a page like that before, so I stared and was totally confused for a couple minutes before I think I figured it out.

I hope so too~ Thank you~! ♥
