But since I try to keep the Vvalkyri and my real name separate I don't really want to post it over on Facebook

I made a Twitter poll!

I finally recall maybe it was only on LJ not on dream width, ppl having what I found at the time incredibly annoying, lists of all their tweets showing up. but now I think that would be really helpful because finding ( Read more... )

I'm sure you're more up on details than I, but the issue with covid that has made me most apprehensive is its sudden lurches.
People are a little sick, shrug it off as a cold, and by the time it gets bad enough they realize they need a doctor, its too late.

I think the later strains aren't as bad, but given I'm in that cohort that tends to power through "sick" my perceived level of risk is perhaps a little higher than it might otherwise be.

Anyway, coming to a point - be careful, if you feel worse, err on the side of caution and get help right away.

That's way more a thing with anybody other than boosted. Which doesn't mean it's impossible to land in a bad way if boosted, but it's pretty close to impossible if you don't have much in the way of further risk factors.

that said, the need for extra sleep is really getting old.

and then on the other side of it I'm noticing I'm having anxiety about not having done enough with the extra immunity I only have for a certain while.

The virtual RPG tonight is having a delayed start because one of the people (I only know them through the game) is spending the day getting fitted for a heart monitor for a couple of weeks, specifically due to covid after effects. Someone at work is doing the same thing.
It seems to be totally a dice roll, some people recover fine, others die, and some only sortof/never recover.

Don't so much mind dying. Hate the notion of dying "stupid", and there are plenty of possibilities worse than death.

Yes, Long Covid is getting entirely too little attention, and even less so with the new CDC masking classifications.
